Under the guidance of her mother, renowned vocalist Chandana Chakraborty, Kaushiki embarked on formal training in Hindustani classical music. Her education expanded further under the mentorship of eminent gurus such as Pandit Jnan Prakash Ghosh and Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty, instilling in her a deep respect for tradition and excellence. Kaushiki's career is marked by artistic exploration and innovation, pushing boundaries and infusing the genre with fresh interpretations. Her collaborations across genres showcase her versatility and adaptability, captivating audiences worldwide. As a judge for DMF's talent hunt, Kaushiki brings decades of experience and insight, alongside a profound passion for nurturing the next generation of musicians, making her an invaluable asset to the panel.

Rahul Deshpande

Rahul Deshpande, scion of the legendary Deshpande family, is a luminary in Indian Classical Music, his journey a testament to his esteemed lineage and unparalleled mastery as a vocalist. Immersed in the rich traditions of the Gwalior and Jaipur-Atrauli gharanas, Rahul began his musical odyssey under the tutelage of his grandfather, the late Pandit Vasantrao Deshpande, an iconic figure in Hindustani classical music. Guided by his grandfather and father, Shrinivas Deshpande, Rahul's education flourished, delving into the depths of classical repertoire and mastering ragas, talas, and improvisational techniques.

His seamless synthesis of tradition and innovation defines Rahul's vocal journey, marked by emotive depth, technical prowess, and soul-stirring expression. Inspired by his gharanas' rich heritage and teachings of revered gurus, Rahul has carved a niche as a versatile artist adept at interpreting classical compositions and exploring experimental genres.
